Settings, Sync, and Live

Open Settingsin the toolbar. You'll find Proxy, Sync scroll, Follow, Bezels, and related toggles. Some options can also be overridden per section.

Proxy routes page loads through Tessera's server so tiles aren't blocked by X-Frame-Options and scroll can be instrumented across frames. Turn it on when Sync or Follow complain, or when the site refuses to embed.

Proxy is not a full browser identity spoof. It's for viewing and sync. For sites that still refuse embedding, switch tiles to Live.

Sync scroll

Scroll position stays aligned across tiles in the same sync group. Requires Proxy or Live. Without either, Tessera warns you Sync can't see into the iframe.

Follow

Navigations (link clicks) in one tile apply to peers. Same requirements as Sync. Great for walking a flow on phone and desktop together.

Bezels draw device chrome around tiles (notches, speaker bars). Purely cosmetic, so turn off when you want pixel-tight frames for screenshots or dense reviews.

Iframe (default)

Lightweight. Fine for open sites, static pages, and when Proxy is enough for Sync. Prefer iframe until you hit a wall.

Live

Real browser sessions streamed into the tile. Use when the site blocks iframes, needs accurate rendering, or Proxy isn't enough. Live slots are capped (Free: 2 concurrent Live tesserae; Pro: 6) and Tessera prefers Live for tiles currently on screen. Deep dive: how Live streaming works.
